Server Setup

Q: The server is running, and when I connect I can see the character list, but when I click on a character, I never enter the game.

A: You have entered the wrong global IP in config.lua, visit www.ip.nu to see your global IP address.

Q: I can connect to my server from my own computer, but my friends can't connect.

A: You need to open ports 7171 and 7172 in your router. Visit www.portforward.com for instructions on how to open these ports. If you have configured it correctly, this page will show a green light when the server is running.

if you don't use a router, just open at the firewall.
