In my honest opinion as an official developper, i don't care about this fight. I know that most part of users of both communities are kids who don't have argues and want some pseudo-status, so they come here or even OTLand, i am not saying that OTLand is like that at all.

Also, i don't care about the staff of both communities, OpenTibia got users that will not quit using OT or even TFS because there is a community war between the projects website fans. Most part of those communities like to get things easy and ask for something that is already solved, the reason: they are lazy to search.

If Talaturen got some reasons to hate OTFans about some possible staff members, well, in some parts is OTFans fault too, indeed he is acting like a child too.

It is sadly that few people grew up this community or even OTLand to users make child fightings.
Well, in Brazil XTibia and OTNetworks got the same problems, but they are more mature about that.

A simple suggestion that i don't know if it is possible: force TFS to drop OT support forever. It is possible? So there will be no links between OTFans and OTLand community.

I think that instead of just putting and end, they should re-unite. I mean the OT community is dying, we all know that, and maybe this partition of otlands/fans is one of the reason. But we need to make a community and put all our work together to get the community growing again.

But if you think about it then you'll know that it's impossible to mix fire and water -> both will die.

Well, I want to be honest I use both websites OTFans and OTLand, I would even use the brazilian
websites if I could understand it.
The reason is simple I care about the knowledge and both websites got an enourmos amount of it.

In my oppinion OTFans is more grown-up and friendlier, while OTLand is the exact opposite.
Never the less, KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

Those fights are just some redicolous jokes made by some bored idiots.

There is only a fight when it is being discussed amongst members.
OTL and OTF are always going to remain as separate communities in my eyes.

I've heard things from both sides of the story and frankly, it doesn't concern me and I don't care.
And neither should everyone else.


Forget it people.
Everything is pretty mutual between the senior staff of both communities @ this stage, so why continue a fight that isn't yours? You're making things worse for everyone else by getting new people involved by discussing a warped version of the truth (but even if it were true what you were saying: ) and you're not doing anyone of the community any favors by not letting it be.
